Basketball Recap: Faribault Comes Up Short

Faribault kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. The contest between the Falcons and the Austin Packers didn't end well, with the Falcons falling 80-61. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Packers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.

Faribault will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Orono at 11:30 a.m. on the 13th. As for Austin, they will challenge John Marshall at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
