Baseball Recap: Northridge Takes a Loss

Northridge managed to slip by Worthington Christian the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Vikings came up short against the Warriors on Saturday, falling 12-1. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2018.

Northridge's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Worthington Christian, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northridge will head out to take on Newark Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Green Wave's pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so the Vikings' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Worthington Christian, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Fredericktown at 5:15 p.m. on May 6.
