Baseball Recap: Bridgewater-Raritan Takes a Loss

Bridgewater-Raritan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Franklin Warriors. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2019.

Bridgewater-Raritan's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Franklin, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-7.

Coming up, Bridgewater-Raritan will challenge Cherokee at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Chiefs' pitching crew has only allowed two runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Franklin, they are taking a road trip to take on Ferris at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
