Basketball Game Preview: Puxico Indians vs. Doniphan Dons

The Puxico Indians will head out on the road to challenge the Doniphan Dons at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Puxico's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games.

Last Friday, everything came up roses for Puxico against Twin Rivers as the team secured a 65-37 win. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Doniphan came up short against Bloomfield last Saturday and fell 49-37. The contest marked the Dons' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Puxico's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Doniphan, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 6-4.

Things could have been worse for Puxico, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 64-49 loss to Doniphan when the teams last played back in December of 2017. Can Puxico avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
