Royal Palm Beach typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Dr. Joaquin Garcia proved too difficult a challenge. They slipped by the Wildcats 59-58. The victory was all the more spectacular given Dr. Joaquin Garcia's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 470th, while the Wildcats are ranked 161st).

Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Suncoast, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 65-46 loss to the Titans on Friday.

Dr. Joaquin Garcia's win bumped their record up to 14-10. As for Suncoast, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-11 record this season.
