Basketball Game Preview: Springlake-Earth Wolverines vs. Silverton Owls

Springlake-Earth is 2-7 against Silverton since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Wolverines will host the Owls at 6:00 p.m.

On Thursday, Springlake-Earth was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 41-36 to Happy.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Silverton and Kress have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Thursday. The Owls enjoyed a cozy 44-28 victory over the Kangaroos. The Owls haven't had any issues with the Kangaroos recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Springlake-Earth's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Silverton, their victory bumped their record up to 17-2.
