Baseball Recap: Norview Comes Up Short

After flying high against Norcom last Friday, Norview came back down to earth. The Pilots came up short against the Churchland Truckers on Thursday, falling 11-1. The Pilots haven't had much luck with the Truckers recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Norview saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landon Otero, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Otero is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Norview now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Churchland, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

Coming up, Norview will take on Bayside at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Churchland, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Norcom at 4:30 p.m. on the 25th.
