Minooka came tearing into Thursday's matchup with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Bolingbrook Raiders. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Indians also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Minooka got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 19-25, 25-21.

Kendall Kozak paced Minooka's offense, picking up nine kills. Kozak got some help from Kennedy Walker and her 12 assists. Lily Mayer controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Minooka's victory bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Bolingbrook, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 11-5.

Looking ahead, Minooka will take on Oswego at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Indians are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Bolingbrook, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Rochester on the 26th.
