Recap: South County Stallions vs. Fairfax Lions
The South County Stallions and the Fairfax Lions squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the South County Stallions had to settle for second. South County's rough 30-6 loss to Fairfax might stick with them for a while. South County's loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.
Jordan Dennis and Tyler Orth certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Dennis threw for 247 yards and a touchdown while completing 76.9% of his passes, while Orth picked up 92 receiving yards and a touchdown.
South County's loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Fairfax, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.
South County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Fairfax will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Lake Braddock at 1:00 p.m. on November 25th. Lake Braddock has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 124 points over their last three games.
