Soccer Game Preview: Paw Paw vs. Three Rivers

The Paw Paw Red Wolves will square off against the Three Rivers Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Paw Paw's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They put the hurt on Dowagiac with a sharp 8-0 victory. Paw Paw might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Three Rivers had to endure a nine-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past Dowagiac 5-2 on Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what Three Rivers needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-9-1. As for Paw Paw, their victory bumped their record up to 10-5-1.

Paw Paw might still be hurting after the 5-0 loss they got from Three Rivers in their previous matchup back in September of 2024. Can the Red Wolves avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
