Basketball Game Preview: Durham Trojans vs. Hoopa Valley Warriors + How To Watch

The Durham Trojans will be taking part in a tournament against the Hoopa Valley Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Durham is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Tuesday. They breezed past Quincy to the tune of 50-20. The win continues a trend for Durham in their matchups with Quincy: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Hoopa Valley posted their closest victory since December 21, 2024 on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Trinity, sneaking past 75-73.

Hoopa Valley's win came from a few key players Durham will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Malakai McCoy, who posted 26 points and seven steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Hoopa Valley's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Carlos Anzora, who scored 17 points.
