Soccer Game Preview: Tandem Friends vs. Stuart Hall

The Tandem Friends Badgers will face off against the Stuart Hall Dragons at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Tandem Friends will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

If Stuart Hall heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Tandem Friends took over last week. The Badgers came out on top against Wakefield Country Day by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. That's two games straight that Tandem Friends have won by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Stuart Hall, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They put the hurt on Appalachian Christian School with a sharp 6-1 win on Saturday. Considering Stuart Hall have won three matchups by more than four goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Stuart Hall now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Tandem Friends, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Tandem Friends was able to grind out a solid win over Stuart Hall in their previous meeting back in October of 2019, winning 3-1. Will the Badgers repeat their success, or do the Dragons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
