There's no place like home for University Prep, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Bear Creek Grizzlies by a score of 3-1 on Friday. This was payback for the Pumas, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

University Prep's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-3. As for Bear Creek, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. University Prep will face off against Eastside Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bear Creek, they will square off against Sultan at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
