Baseball Recap: Saguaro Sabercats vs. ALA - Gilbert North Eagles
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Desert Mountain, Saguaro was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the ALA - Gilbert North Eagles.
Nate Wachinski looked comfortable as he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Chasen Niemann was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Gilligan, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
