Baseball Recap: Althoff Catholic's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Althoff Catholic's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They walked away with a 9-4 win over the Mater Dei Knights. That's more bragging rights for the Crusaders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Luke Smith looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in eight consecutive appearances.
