Volleyball Recap: Toombs County Comes Up Short

Toombs County lost against Burke County back in October of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bulldogs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bears. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-7.

Toombs County now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Burke County, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Coincidentally, Toombs County and Burke County will both be playing Putnam County the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will head out to face the War Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Bears will play them later in the day, at 8:00 p.m.
