Basketball Recap: Susitna Valley Takes a Loss

Susitna Valley's tournament run continued when they took on Bethel on Friday. The Susitna Valley Rams received a blow as they fell 47-29 to the Bethel Warriors. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Susitna Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Bethel, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.

Susitna Valley won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Galena at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Bethel, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against Seward at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Seward will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Bethel surely won't give up without a fight.
