Hertzog made his presence known in Tigard's 8-2 victory
Trenton Hertzog produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Tigard to the win on Friday. Hertzog made a splash, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off eight hits (and only one walk). It looks like he has Lakeridge's number considering he had a big game the last time he faced them, too. Hertzog has been consistent recently: he hasn't pitched less than five innings in three consecutive pitching appearances.
Hertzog and Tigard will head out on the road to square off against Oregon City at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tigard is 9-1 against Oregon City going back to March of 2017, a lead they'll look to extend.
