Scottsdale Christian Academy waltzed into their matchup  on Thursday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They blew past the Madison Highland Prep Heat 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played  back in August of 2024.
 Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Scottsdale Christian Academy took every set by at least 15 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-10,  25-10.
Scottsdale Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Lucy Dickerson, who  had five  digs and three  aces. That's the most  aces  Dickerson has posted since back in September. Another player making a difference was  Kaylee Howell, who  had five  aces and three  digs.
 They weren't the only good servers: Scottsdale Christian Academy  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 23  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least five  aces in ten consecutive  matches.
Scottsdale Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 28-6. As for Madison Highland Prep,  they are  on  a  seven-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 6-14.
 Looking ahead, Scottsdale Christian Academy will host Glendale Prep Academy  at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Madison Highland Prep, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fountain Hills  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday.
