Community Charter scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 66-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bert Corona Charter Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-47 back in January.

Despite the loss, Community Charter saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Edem Ladzepko dropped a double-double with 26 points and 13 boards. That was a full 47.3% of Community Charter's points, marking the eighth time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. Rafael Marcos was another key player, putting up four points in addition to six rebounds and three steals.

Community Charter's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Bert Corona Charter, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Looking ahead, Community Charter won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Valley Oaks CES at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Community Charter has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
