Volleyball Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss

Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Hononegah Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in April.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-17.

Hononegah can attribute much of their success to Owen Rollinson, who had 22 assists and four digs. Rollinson has been hot for a while, having posted 14 or more assists the last 14 times he's played.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Hononegah, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 24-5.

Looking ahead, Jefferson will face off against Prospect at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hononegah, they will take on Harlem at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
