Softball Recap: Edison Tech Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Edison Tech's offense. They came up short against the Franklin Bulldogs on Thursday, falling 17-0. The match marked the first time this season in which the Inventors were not able to get on the board.

Edison Tech is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 7.6 runs this season. As for Franklin, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

Coincidentally, Edison Tech and Franklin will both be playing School of the Arts the next time they take the field. The Inventors will head out to face the Silverhawks at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Bulldogs will host them at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
