Basketball Recap: York Country Day Beats West Shore Christian Academy for Their 16th Straight Win

York Country Day put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat West Shore Christian Academy 76-47. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as York Country Day just coasted through the last quarter.

York Country Day's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Isaiah White, who went 5 for 8 on his way to 19 points and three steals. White's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Ryan Maus, who posted 14 points in addition to seven steals and five assists.

York Country Day's victory was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-0. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.6 points per game. As for West Shore Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.

York Country Day will face off against Newport at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for West Shore Christian Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against New Covenant Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
