Basketball Recap: Wells Gets the Win

While Wells has struggled at home with six straight losses, that wasn't the case on Monday thanks to Ashanti Clark. The Wells Raiders breezed by the Disney II Titans to the tune of 64-4 thanks in part to Clark, who almost dropped a triple-double on 34 points, nine boards, and 12 steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Wells' points.

Another player making a difference was Gabrielle Marshall, who dropped a double-double on ten boards and 15 steals. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5 steals per game.

Wells' victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Disney II, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Wells will welcome Foreman at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Wells is facing Foreman at the right time seeing as Foreman is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Disney II, they will head out to take on Kelvyn Park at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Kelvyn Park's defense has only allowed 14.8 points per game this season, so Disney II's offense will have their work cut out for them.
