After a string of three wins, Hershey's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Perkins County Plainsmen. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Plainsmen earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Hershey's offense was headlined by Alexis Pinkerton and Kenna Bringewatt, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Demi Damoude and her eight assists.

Hershey's defeat dropped their record down to 17-10. As for Perkins County, the win got them back to even at 14-14.

Coincidentally, Hershey and Perkins County will both be playing Chase County the next time they take the court. The Plainsmen will head out to face the Longhorns at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Panthers will head out to face them on Tuesday.
