Volleyball Recap: Elgin Comes Up Short

Elgin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Guthrie Bluejays. The Owls were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bluejays apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Elgin's defeat dropped their record down to 1-21. As for Guthrie, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-7.

Coming up, Elgin will venture away from home to square off against Altus at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. Guthrie has already played their next contest (against Classen SAS), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
