Holden Phillips Delivers Electric Performance Vs San Angelo Central

Holden Phillips's big game helped extend Frenship's winning streak to nine on Friday. San Angelo Central had no answer to Phillips as he threw for 276 yards and five touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. Phillips is crushing it when it comes to passing touchdowns: he's passed for at least three every time he's taken the field this season.

Frenship's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-1. Phillips' next contest is against Montwood on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

Big Game from Campbell As Frenship Won 51-44

Frenship picked up their ninth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Chase Campbell. San Angelo Central had no answer to Campbell as he rushed for 66 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, and also picked up 53 receiving yards and a touchdown.

For the year, Campbell has caught 16 touchdowns while averaging 120.9 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 1.2 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 31.3 rushing yards.

Jp Reyes and Co. Win Third in a Row

Midland Legacy picked up their third consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Jp Reyes. Reyes did his part (and then some), throwing for 211 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes for the 'W'.

Midland Legacy is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season. Reyes and Midland Legacy will face off against Franklin at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Another Game with at Least 164 Rushing Yards from Gavin Black

Gavin Black's rushing tear continued on Friday as he dropped his tenth-straight game with 164+ rushing yards. He rushed for 192 yards while picking up 7.7 yards per carry.

Black might have his next game, a road matchup with Eastlake, circled on his calendar. Black rushed for 215 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.6 yards per carry the last time he and the Falcons duked it out back in September.
