Basketball Recap: Northwestern Comes Up Short

Northwestern was the 60-43 winner over Wabash when they last played one another back in November of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Northwestern Tigers fell 63-50 to the Wabash Apaches on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 265th, while the Apaches are ranked 88th).

Northwestern has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for Wabash, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 17-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Wabash beat Northwestern by a score of 63-50 on Saturday.
