St. Catherine of Siena Academy lost a heartbreaker the last time they played University Liggett, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's contest. The Athletes were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Knights on Friday. The Athletes' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

St. Catherine of Siena Academy's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-10. As for University Liggett, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

St. Catherine of Siena Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Walled Lake Western at 4:30 p.m. on the 22nd. As for University Liggett, they will square off against Lakeview at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Huskies have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed eight runs per game on average), something the Knights will no doubt try to take advantage of.
