Volleyball Recap: St. Michael the Archangel Takes a Loss

St. Michael the Archangel lost against Oak Park last Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. St. Michael the Archangel lost 3-0 to Oak Park. The Guardians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While St. Michael the Archangel was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-13, 25-12.

St. Michael the Archangel's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Oak Park, their victory ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 6-1.

St. Michael the Archangel and Oak Park will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. St. Michael the Archangel will challenge rival Belton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Oak Park is set to square off against their familiar foe Winnetonka at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
