Volleyball Recap: Laurel Comes Up Short

Laurel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the North Pike Jaguars, falling 3-0.

Laurel's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for North Pike, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Laurel is set to take on their familiar foe Natchez at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, North Pike will face off against rival Sumrall at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
