Baseball Game Preview: Miller Buccaneers vs. King Mustangs

Miller hasn't had much luck against King recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Miller Buccaneers will head out to square off against the King Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. Neither Miller nor King posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Miller fell victim to Gregory-Portland and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 13-0. The Buccaneers just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Meanwhile, King lost 8-1 to Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial on Friday. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Miller's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for King, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11-1.

Miller couldn't quite get it done against King in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 as they fell 3-0. Can Miller avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
