Beaver won the last time they faced Water Canyon and things went their way on Thursday too. The Beaver Beavers were the clear victor by a 52-26 margin over the Water Canyon Wildcats. The Beavers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 20 points or more this season.

Loss or not, Water Canyon got some senior leadership from Alysha Cooke and Martha Jessop. Cooke almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten rebounds, while Jessop posted nine points in addition to eight boards and three steals. Cooke has been hot, having posted eight or more rebounds the last six times she's played.

Beaver is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Water Canyon, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Beaver didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 66-30 win against Panguitch on the 24th. As for Water Canyon, they will square off against Parowan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Water Canyon is facing Parowan at the right time seeing as Parowan is stuck on an 18-game losing streak.
