Basketball Recap: Peoples Baptist Academy's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

After flying high against Grace Christian last Thursday, Peoples Baptist Academy came back down to earth. The game between the Peoples Baptist Academy Knights and the Bible Baptist Christian Eagles didn't end well, with the Peoples Baptist Academy Knights falling 47-28. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Bible Baptist Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Trent Hamilton led the charge by almost dropping a double-double on 12 points and nine boards. Vanrick Rolle was another key player, going 5 of 12 on his way to 13 points.

Peoples Baptist Academy's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-2. As for Bible Baptist Christian, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-1.

Peoples Baptist Academy will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Kings Way Christian School at 7:00 p.m. As for Bible Baptist Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 78-57 win against Old Suwanee Christian on the 14th.
