Basketball Recap: Citrus Hill Hawks vs. Geffen Academy Bruins
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Citrus Hill walked away with it. They breezed past the Geffen Academy Bruins to the tune of 73-46 on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Hawks sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Citrus Hill found their leader in sophomore Jerren White, who dropped a triple-double with 25 points, 11 boards, and ten steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points White has scored all season. Kason Steward was another key player, going 7-for-16 en route to 16 points in addition to eight rebounds and five assists.
Citrus Hill smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in 17 consecutive matchups.
Geffen Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Nathan M, who went 11-for-22 to rack up 23 points. The game was his fifth in a row with at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Stevan M, who went 6-for-15 on his way to 15 points.
Citrus Hill's win bumped their record up to 17-12. As for Geffen Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7.
