Green Run hasn't had much luck against Princess Anne recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. Green Run will be playing at home against Princess Anne at 4:00 p.m. Green Run is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 12.2 runs per game this season.

Green Run barely beat Indian River the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Green Run was the clear victor by a 22-1 margin over Indian River on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Stallions.

Chyann Soule made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single hit and allowed only one earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-5. She also brought in three RBI, marking her first of the season.

In other batting news, Green Run got a massive performance out of Emma Franklin, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. Franklin is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season. Rylee McLawhorn was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.

Green Run always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .683. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Indian River only posted an OBP of .278.

Meanwhile, Princess Anne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 11-3 to Bayside.

C Basurto was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of J Ramsey, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

The victory got Green Run back to even at 2-2. As for Princess Anne, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Green Run might still be hurting after the 18-4 loss they got from Princess Anne in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Can Green Run avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
