Basketball Game Preview: Woodland Warriors vs. Earlville Red Raiders

Woodland is 1-7 against Earlville since November of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Woodland Warriors will be playing at home against the Earlville Red Raiders at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Woodland took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They strolled past Lowpoint-Washburn with points to spare, taking the game 53-37.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Earlville beat Midland 40-35 on Tuesday.

Earlville's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-17. As for Woodland, their victory bumped their record up to 19-11.

Woodland took a serious blow against Earlville in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, falling 72-39. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Woodland was down 40-16.
