Devine had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Gonzales Apaches by a score of 10-5 on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-0 on Thursday.

The team relied heavily on Maddie Brown, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Skylar Blanton was another key player, going 1-for-4 with three stolen bases and two runs.

Devine is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-5 record this season. As for Gonzales, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-13.

As of now, neither Devine nor the Apaches have any future games scheduled.
