Baseball Recap: Dover Comes Up Short

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Dover and Bedford meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Monday. The Green Wave fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 5-4. The Green Wave were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2025.

Dover now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Bedford, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Dover will face off against rival Nashua North at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Bedford is set to challenge their familiar foe Bishop Guertin at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
