Recap: Booker Kiowas vs. Sunray Bobcats
The Booker Kiowas lost against the Sunray Bobcats back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Booker was beaten by Sunray 66-9. Booker has not had much luck with Sunray recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Leading Sunray to victory were Carly Neeley and Ariadna De la rosa. Neeley scored 17 points, while De la rosa scored 12 points along with 8 assists and 5 rebounds. De la rosa has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last eight times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Lodholm, who scored 5 points.
Booker now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Sunray, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Booker won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against West Texas at 8:00 a.m. on December 2nd. Sunray will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Boys Ranch at 3:30 p.m. on December 1st. Boys Ranch is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
