Soccer Recap: Hampton Comes Up Short

After flying high against McDonough last Friday, Hampton came back down to earth. Hampton came up short against the Union Grove Wolverines on Thursday, falling 4-1. Hampton have struggled against Union Grove recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Hampton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Union Grove, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hampton will take on Ola at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Ola will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Hampton surely won't give up without a fight. As for Union Grove, they will head out on the road to challenge Eagle's Landing Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Union Grove is facing Eagle's Landing Christian Academy at the right time seeing as Eagle's Landing Christian Academy is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
