Football Game Preview: Jackson Red Devils vs. Callaway Cavaliers + How To Watch

The Jackson Red Devils will face off against the Callaway Cavaliers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Jackson is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Morgan County on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Red Devils lost 42-18 to the Bulldogs. The Red Devils were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-6.

Meanwhile, Callaway entered their tilt with Rutland last Friday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Hurricanes 45-12. Considering the Cavaliers have won four matchups by more than 25 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Callaway's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Jackson, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-5.

Jackson took a serious blow against Callaway in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 45-14. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Red Devils were down 39-14.
