Softball Preview: Wilder Wildcats vs. Glenns Ferry Pilots
Wilder is 0-10 against Glenns Ferry since April of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. Taylor Martinez made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over four innings pitched. Martinez was also big at the plate, scoring five runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in four of her six plate appearances.
In other batting news, Sahira Arevalo was incredible, getting on base in all six of her plate appearances with four stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Peyton Stewart, who scored three runs and stole four bases while going 3-for-5.
