Softball Recap: Cherry Valley-Springfield Comes Up Short

Cherry Valley-Springfield managed to slip by Milford Central the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Patriots came up short against the Wildcats on Monday, falling 15-0. The Patriots were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 4-3.

Cherry Valley-Springfield saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bailey Thayer, who went 1-for-3 with one triple.

This is the second loss in a row for Cherry Valley-Springfield and nudges their season record down to 8-7. As for Milford Central, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

As of now, neither Cherry Valley-Springfield nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
