South Garland gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They came out on top against the Lincoln Tigers by a score of 21-13. The victory was some much needed relief for the Titans as it spelled an end to their eight-game losing streak dating back to last season.
Lincoln's loss came despite strong showings from Jastin Hampton and Jermirion Robertson. Hampton threw for 131 yards and a touchdown, while Robertson gained 96 total yards and two touchdowns.
South Garland is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season. they square off against Irving on Friday. South Garland is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. As for Lincoln, they will take on Adams at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
