Softball Preview: Santiam Wolverines vs. Central Linn Cobras

The Santiam Wolverines will head out on the road to face off against the Central Linn Cobras at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Santiam's favor is that they have posted big run totals in their last five games.

In what's become a running theme this season, Santiam gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Regis as Santiam made off with a 15-3 victory.

McKenna Dodge was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off three hits. Dodge has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts every time she's pitched this season. Dodge was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and a double.

In other batting news, Santiam let McKayla Dodge and Madie Allen loose on the outfield.
