West and Troy are an even 5-5 against one another since November of 2019, but not for long. West will venture away from home to face off against Troy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

West came up short against Clifton on Friday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-16, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Troy got the win against Harmony Science Academy on Friday by a conclusive 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won five in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Troy took every set by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-11, 25-9.

Troy's win bumped their record up to 17-9. As for West, their loss dropped their record down to 15-15.

West was able to grind out a solid victory over Troy in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 3-1. Will West repeat their success, or does Troy has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
