Baseball Game Preview: Warsaw Tigers vs. Perry Yellowjackets

The Warsaw Tigers will head out on the road to square off against the Perry Yellowjackets at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Warsaw blew Caledonia-Mumford out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Caledonia-Mumford got their revenge. The Tigers fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 3-1.

Meanwhile, Perry came up short against Keshequa on Friday, falling 10-4.

Maximus Siewert made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Beau Solcum, who scored a run and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Warsaw now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Perry, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Warsaw beat Perry 8-5 in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
