Softball Recap: Clint Comes Up Short

After flying high against Irvin on Tuesday, Clint came back down to earth. The Lions lost 20-0 to the Chapin Huskies on Thursday. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Lions were not able to get on the board.

Clint saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Y Vergara, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base. Vergara is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.

Clint's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Chapin, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-5.

Looking ahead, Clint will square off against Parkland at 12:50 p.m. on Friday. As for Chapin, they will take on Bel Air at 4:10 p.m. on Friday.
