Basketball Recap: Calvary Christian Takes a Loss

Calvary Christian suffered their biggest loss since February 23, 2024 on Wednesday. They lost 54-29 to the Carteret Ramblers. The Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Ramblers earlier this season, when they won 24-20.

Calvary Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 15-2. As for Carteret, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-3.

Looking ahead, Calvary Christian will be playing at home against Veritas Christian Academy at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Calvary Christian's defense has only allowed 22.2 points per game this season, so Veritas Christian Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them. Carteret does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
